In short
This website does not set cookies, does not load any analytics or advertising library, and does not send your data anywhere. It is a set of static pages. The only thing you can give us is your email address, through a form that currently hands off to your own mail app. ReplyZen the product has not launched, so no Instagram data is being processed at all.
What this covers
This policy covers replyzen.com — the marketing website you are reading — and the Early Access list. It does not yet cover the ReplyZen product, because the product does not exist in a usable form. When it does, this page will be replaced with a policy that describes it, and the date at the top will change.
It is written to be read rather than to be survived. If something here is unclear, that is a fault in the writing and we would like to hear about it at hello@replyzen.com.
What this site collects
Nothing, automatically. There is no account system on this website, no comment form, no search box, and no field that asks for information other than the one email field on the Early Access form.
We do not build a profile of you, we do not log your IP address into an application database, and we do not attempt to identify who you are or which company you work for.
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages will see the requests needed to serve them. That is true of every site on the internet and we are not going to pretend otherwise — but we do not use it to identify visitors, and we do not combine it with anything else.
The analytics code
The source of this site contains a small amount of code that fires named
events — early_access_click, faq_open,
signup_started and a few others. Being precise about what that
code does matters, so here it is:
- It broadcasts each event to the page you are already on.
- Nothing is listening. There is no analytics provider connected, no endpoint configured, and no network request made.
- The events die with the page. They are not stored, queued, or sent anywhere, and they are gone the moment you navigate away or close the tab.
The seam exists so that if we later adopt an analytics tool, the switch is one configuration change rather than an edit to every page. If and when that happens, this section will name the tool, say what it collects, and be updated on the date at the top — and if it uses cookies, you will be asked first.
Early Access
The Early Access form is the one place on this site where you can give us something. Here is exactly what happens when you press the button:
- Your browser opens your own email application with a message pre-filled and addressed to hello@replyzen.com. The address you typed is placed in the body of that message.
- Nothing is sent until you send it. The address stays on your device until you press send in your own mail app. It is not transmitted to us, or to anyone, by the form itself.
- If you do send it, we hold your email address and the date you wrote. That is the whole record.
We use it to tell you when your account can be created. We do not add you to a newsletter, we do not send a sequence of marketing emails, and we do not sell, rent or share the list with anyone.
To be removed, reply to any email from us or write to hello@replyzen.com and ask. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no process to go through.
Third parties
There are no third-party scripts on this site: no advertising pixels, no social embeds, no fonts loaded from someone else's server, no chat widget, no session recorder.
The typeface is served from this site's own files rather than from a font host, specifically so that loading a page does not tell a third party that you visited it.
There is no embedded video and no embedded map. Nothing on a page here makes a request to a domain we do not control.
Once the product launches
ReplyZen is not launched. No account can be created, no Instagram account can be connected, no comment is being read, and no message is being sent. Nothing in this section describes something that is happening today. It describes what we intend, so that the plan is on the record before there is any data to argue about.
When the product is live, it will necessarily handle:
- Your account — the email address you sign up with, and your authentication credentials, stored so you can log in.
- Your connected Instagram account — the access credentials Instagram issues to you, used only to read the comments and send the messages you have configured. Nothing else is done with them.
- Comments and messages — the comments that match your keywords, the messages your automations send, and the replies that come back, kept so the automation can work and so you can see what it did.
- Leads you collect — the email addresses people give through your Email Gate. These are yours, and you will be able to export them or delete them.
What we will not do: read your direct messages for anything other than running the automations you set up, sell or share your data, use your content to train models, or keep your data after you close your account.
Before launch, this section will be replaced by a policy written against the system as actually built, with real retention periods, real sub-processors named, and a real deletion path. A policy written today about software that does not exist yet would be a guess dressed as a promise.
Your requests
Whatever the law calls it where you live — access, correction, deletion, portability, objection — the practical answer is the same. Write to hello@replyzen.com and ask.
Today, that request concerns one thing: the email address on the Early Access list. We will confirm what we hold and delete it if you want.
We will not ask you to prove who you are beyond writing from the address in question, and we will not make you fill in a form.
Children
ReplyZen is a business tool for people running an Instagram account, and it is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us an email address, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Because the site collects so little, most changes will be small. The one substantial change to expect is the launch rewrite described above, and we would rather flag it in advance than have it appear quietly.
If you are on the Early Access list and the change affects what we do with your address, we will tell you by email rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
Contact
Privacy questions, deletion requests and complaints all go to the same place and are read by the people who build the product: hello@replyzen.com.
There is also a contact page that sets out what to write about, and a terms of service covering use of the site.
